Our team was visiting the neighborhood and we knocked on a door that was opened but nobody answered. I yelled into the trailer and a woman answered and asked us to come in. We entered and the woman was in a back room in a bed. She was a elderly Christian woman who was full of pain and bedfast, she suffered from cancer, arthitis and was unable to walk. We prayed over her and she felt the power of God come over her. I asked her to do something she could not do before and she said she wanted to walk. As she got up she yelling "Thank you Jesus" and she said "my back I don't feel pain, my stomach I feel good, my legs I don't feel pain anymore." Praise the Lord!!

Met a man at a park. He was talking with 2 other men. I shared the script with them and after saying the prayer to rededicate his life to the Lord he started crying. He said he really needed this, he told me how backslidden he was and how he wanted to come back to the Lord. He came to the meetings when Rodney Howard Brown was at Abundant Life Church. He was so grateful for sharing Jesus with him.

After praying with a couple to receive Jesus at a park I was on my way to my car to go home. I saw a man walking close to my car. I shared the script but he stopped me before the prayer. He said to me do you know who I am? I said who? He said I am Crip. I said hello Crip my name is Tim. He said no I am a gangbanger, he said he just arrived from California after serving many years in prison. But recently he got into a fight and because of his record he was up for 10 more years of prison for attempted manslaughter. He showed me his scars where he had been shot and stabbed. He said he was trying to get out of that lifestyle but it was following him. He was very angry at life and how unfair it was. I shared the script with him and told him how Jesus came to set the captives free. I told him that God was after his heart and once Jesus came into his life his eyes would be opened to the many questions he had. He said the prayer of salvation with me. After this he wanted to go out with me to tell others about Jesus. He has a real calling of God on his life.

We were going door to door and we knocked on the door to this house and at first they didn't answer but then they answered. It was about five guys and they all said the salvation prayer. I was reading the script and when I came to the part where they repeat after you for the prayer I wasn't expecting them all to pray the prayer but all of them did. And when I heard their voices tears almost came to my eyes and I was trying as hard as I could to hold them in. I truly felt joy that they were receptive."

Who says that evangelism can't be fun! Today on my lunch break I went to the beach to snorkel and swim a little. As I was about a quarter of a mile out and in 30 to 40 foot deep water and a woman started swimming out towards me all alone. I wasn't too sure what to do but the Lord spoke to me to share Jesus with her. As I approached her I told her that the water was very deep and to be careful. She said that what she was really worried about was the sharks. I told her that there are sharks out here but the chances of being bit are pretty slim. But then I told her that I had a quick but important question to ask her, if you were to die at this very second are you sure beyond a shadow of a doubt that you would go to heaven. She quickly said no but was quite eager to find out how to be saved. I shared with her the Gospel Soul Winning Script and she prayed the prayer of salvation. She told me that she knew that God sent me to swim over to her and to lead her to Jesus. She explained that she recently had gone through a divorce and had a desire to start her life all over again but was not sure how to do this. As we were swimming back I prayed for her again and encouraged her to find fellowship in a bible believing church when she returned back to Alabama. Praise God you never know where you might be when you experience an encounter, not a shark encounter but a soul-winning encounter! God has a great sense of humor and He is so cool!

Newly Born Again and Sharing the Script

This was my first time witnessing and I met Steven who accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior. He was not sure he was saved, but the Lord made sure! We also prayed for his mother who was stricken with cancer, that Jesus would touch her and heal her body.
Note - David came to know Jesus as his Lord and Savior only 4 weeks ago and he mentioned that he came out witnessing with us just because of Bishops message on Sunday. Praise God! The whole team was greatly blessed by David and by his instant obedience to Gods word!
Household Salvation

I have been praying for my family for over 23 years. My father has really been on my heart, he is a quiet man but strong, a construction worker for over 30 years. I tried to share Jesus with him in the past but every time a distraction would come or my tongue got tied and I just could not communicate the Gospel rightly. I knew that if he died I was 100% sure that he would go to hell, he told me in the past that he had no sin and did not need Jesus. All these years my heart has been very heavy and I felt ashamed that I could not communicate the gospel well but I continued to stand on God's Word that all of my household would be saved. During and after the RMI Great Awakening Conference the Lord caused a great revival fire to light up in me. The fire of revival is burning more in me now than any time in my life and the one thing that has stoked the fire white hot is the joy of winning people to Jesus. I have led more adult people to Jesus in the last 4 weeks than anytime in my 23 years with Jesus. I believe this is what has caused a household salvation to happen in my family. Last Saturday my parents were in town and leaving the next day, I explained to them what has been happening in my life and asked them if I could share the Soul Winning Script with them and they said OK. I read the card word for word very nervously and THEY PRAYED THE PRAYER OF SALVATION! I could hardly make it through the script as my father prayed for a hunger for God and to receive Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior. My mom also rededicated her life. Other family members that received Christ was my Sister, Sister-in-law, Niece, her husband and an old drug buddy from high school all received Jesus. GOD IS DOING IT AND HE IS SO FAITHFUL TO HIS WORD - SO HOLD ON! I am so confident that the key to this household salvation is that as I have been taking care of God's business of winning people to Jesus He in turn he has taken care of my business of getting everyone in my family into an eternity with Jesus. I was on my way in to the Dollar General and this lady was outside and asked me for some change to make a phone call. She looked very distressed and I gave her all of my change and went to make my purchase. On the way out I saw that she was crying uncontrollably after she hung up the phone. I went back to her and shared the script and led her to the Lord. She told me that she had ran away from her family and did many awful things and was calling her family to take her back home. She said that she was not sure that they would receive her but they did and were on their way to pick her up. She said that she could not forgive herself for all that she did. I shared the father's heart and shared the story of the woman who was going to be stoned and how God's heart was to forgive her. I prayed with her again and took her follow-up information. As I was going to my car a woman stopped me and asked about this distressed woman. I told her that she was going through some hard times but she has made her heart right with the Lord. The woman just stopped and looked at me and said "well I want to be right with the Lord also so pray with me!" I led her to the Lord also!

I was ministering to a woman on Saturday that was a Christian at the May Day city function at Chester Pruitt Park. She wanted me to pray for her husband Robert, who was not a Christian and ridiculed her faith in the Lord. As soon as I prayed with this woman and said the word Amen her husband came walking up right behind her. She kind of gave me the look to go "sick'em" and I shared the script with him and he received Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior. The next day at the Gospel May Day in the same park I saw Robert and his wife just beaming like a beacon and I also talked with another woman who was with them who I also led to the Lord on the previous day and came to find out it was Robert's mother who also received Jesus as her Lord and Savior! House Hold Salvations! With God nothing is impossible! Praise the Lord!
